Since studying my A-level in Psychology, I have always had a curiosity with relationships and how we as humans interact with each other.
This was bolstered by my own experiences and hardships in life. Counselling offered me a chance to work through things that I hadn't yet processed, to explore my identity, and begin to look forward to my future.
Life throws many surprises at us, and while we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, we can take control of how we respond to certain situations. I believe that we are the experts of our own lives and identities, and as your therapist I am here to understand, explore, and accept who you are within our work.
I have worked with a range of clients in my Private Practice, The Mix, GriefChat, and Humankind charity, alongside over 8 years of working in pastoral support roles. I have continued my training since qualifying in topics such as Gender Diversity, Trauma, CBT for anxiety, supporting the bereaved, amongst others.
