Working with Chronically Ill Clients in Therapy
This is £75 unlimited access and self-paced course that goes into what chronic illness is, the basics, getting a diagnosis, what it's like to live with chronic illness, how it impacts life, stigma and intersectionality, themes that come up in work, ways of working, and navigating your practice. This course has not gone through the quality check process with NCPS but it has been reviewed by peers and colleagues.

Who is creating these courses?
That would be me, Emily. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in Education, Safeguarding, and roles which required me to host training workshops for colleagues and students. I have created these courses from scratch using my own lived experience and through working with GSRD clients.
My resources draw on this experience as well as using research based information, anecdotal evidence, including further reading, and prompting with reflective questions to explore your own personal views as well as how you might work professionally.
